At home, the NAS pulls a second copy of that repository every Sunday. The direction was a deliberate choice: the NAS pulls, so no port needs to be open at home.</p> <p>That setup has failed — not because of a mistake, but because of a calculation nobody ever made. Rebuilding it then surfaced two configuration errors that had been invisible until that point. One of them is the real reason for this post.</p>
